Volunteer and intern
Put your skills to work outdoors
Hands-on placements for students, professionals, and community members who want to contribute directly to outdoor learning programs and sustainability projects.
How it works
Where volunteers fit in
Volunteers contribute to a wide range of Grow WILDE activities: assisting with outdoor education programs, helping maintain community gardens and sustainability projects, supporting events and community outreach, and mentoring young learners in the field.
No specific credentials are required for most roles — enthusiasm for the outdoors, education, and community is the most important qualification. We match volunteers to roles that fit their availability, skills, and interests, and we accept interns year-round to accommodate academic placement requirements.
