Program
Educator Training
Grow WILDE equips teachers with the skills, tools, and confidence to deliver curriculum outdoors — through hands-on workshops, site-based training, and ongoing coaching grounded in real practice.
What
Training teachers to teach outside
Many educators want to teach outdoors but lack training, resources, or confidence. We remove those barriers.
Through workshops, on-site coaching, and co-teaching models, educators learn to translate curriculum expectations into outdoor learning experiences — managing risk thoughtfully, using place as a teaching partner, and assessing learning authentically in natural settings. Training is designed by educators, tested with students, and adaptable to diverse school contexts.

Vision
Every teacher, outdoor-ready
The goal is not to create outdoor specialists. It is to equip all educators to see the outdoors as a natural extension of their practice — one that strengthens student well-being, deepens learning, and reconnects education to the world it is meant to serve.

Purpose
Barriers removed, confidence built
The research is clear: outdoor learning is linked to improved academic engagement, mental health, and student resilience. The gap is not interest — it is preparation. Grow WILDE's training closes that gap by building practical, place-based competence in the educators who are already there.
